    Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in the states west which claimed the life of a man.

    Investigators believe a Holden 4WD travelling east on Logan Road at Denicull Creek ran off the road around 630 metres west of Creek Road, rolling into a culvert.

    The driver and sole occupant, a 57-year-old Dunicull Creek man, was located at the scene around 8am by a passerby.

    At this stage, it is unknown when the vehicle left the road.
