Plant Operators - Jeparit and Nhill
Full Time Positions

Council has vacancies for a Heavy Plant Operator (Water Truck) based in Jeparit; a Heavy Plant Operator (Heavy Combination Cartage Truck) based in Nhill; and a Medium Plant Operator (Tractor) based in Jeparit.

The positions will undertake duties that are linked to our Capital and Recurrent Works Program. The success of our service is largely related to work flexibility, which means that you may be required to carry out a variety of duties, as determined and directed by your Team Leader.

Heavy Plant Operator (Water Truck)
Whilst experience in the operation of a Water Truck is required, the incumbent will be expected to operate other Heavy Plant such as the Heavy Combination Cartage Truck and Loader, on an as-required basis. A Heavy Combination Licence is required.

Heavy Plant Operator (Heavy Combination Cartage Truck)
Whilst experience in the operation of a Truck and Dog is required, the incumbent will be expected to operate other Heavy Plant such as the Loader and Water Truck, on an as-required basis. A Heavy Combination Licence is required.

Medium Plant Operator (Tractor)
Whilst experience in the operation of a Tractor is required, the incumbent will be expected to operate other Medium Plant such as a Skidsteer Loader, on an asrequired basis.
