The bowls season has begun, with social bowls on Wednesday and Friday and a practice match on Sunday.
Wednesday's social winners were Frank Neagle and Geoff Gazelle, while on Friday Carolyn Crowhurst and Judith Albrecht placed first.
The club participated in a practice match at Coughlin Park on Sunday under ideal conditions. After 23 ends Coughlin Park won 131-81.
Pennant bowls will commence on Saturday with last year's division 1 winners Dimboola 1 playing Nhill 1 at Nhill.
