Local youth rugged up to participate in a walking photography workshop around Dimboola recently.

Wimmera Health Care Group community health nurse and former Dimboola professional photographer, Nicole Miller, shared her knowledge on how to get better artistic shots during the walk around on July 3.

"The workshop allowed participants to take the time see their town through a completely different lens," Mrs Miller said.

"It was an ideal workshop for any young person with an interest in photography, from beginner to the more advanced.

"The images, celebrating how Dimboola youth see their town, will be displayed at an exhibition in August."

The photography exhibition My Town Through My Eyes, will have an official opening on Wednesday August 15 at 7.30 pm at The Pantry in the old Star Theatre in Lloyd Street, Dimboola. Entry is free but those wishing to attend are encouraged to RSVP for catering purposes by August 8 to Nicole Miller at nicole.miller@whcg.org.au or 0419 370 403.

The exhibition will also open for viewing on Wednesday 22 and 29 August between 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm.
