Voting closes on Monday for the Pick My Project grants initiative which will see at least $1 million in funding available in each metro and regional area for popular community projects.

Dimboola has three worthy projects vying for a share of the funding and it is up to local residents to vote to make them a reality.

The Projects in Dimboola are:

  • Nine Creeks Walking Track Pedestrian Bridge.

  • Open Community Arts and Reflection Space (development of The Old Dimboola Hotel site).

  • Dimboola Recreation Reserve - Community Multi Use Facility.

Voting is quick and simple, and open until 5 pm, Monday 17 September, and can be done either online, or via phone for those without access to the internet -

Online Voting

  • Register for a Pick My Project account. If you already have an account, simply sign in.

  • Select Dimboola and then you can browse the local project ideas and create a shortlist of your favourites.

  • Pick your three favourite project ideas from your shortlist and verify your mobile number. You’ll then be able to submit your votes.

Phone Voting

If you don’t have an email address or mobile phone number you can vote by calling 1800 797 818, and the Pick My Project team will help you create an account and complete your vote. (Make sure you’ve picked your three favourite projects before you call)

To increase the chances of Dimboola projects sharing in this funding, make sure you vote before 5 pm on Monday.
