Local winter sports competitions are drawing to a close for 2018, and the next major competition to hold their grand finals will be the Horsham District Football Netball League at the Horsham City Oval tomorrow.

Local clubs Pimpinio and Jeparit-Rainbow will be represented in a number of football and netball premiership deciding games.

The Jeparit-Rainbow club will contest their first Reserves grade grand final since moving to the Horsham District Football Netball League for the 2015 season, when they take on Harrow-Balmoral.

These two teams have already played each other three times this season with mixed results.

Harrow-Balmoral had the best of their first two encounters; by a narrow four points in round 8 and by 31 points in the last home and away round, but it was Jeparit-Rainbow who had the best of their encounter in the First Semi Final by a goal.

Pimpinio will be represented on the football field by their Under 17 team which will play Noradjuha-Quantong.

On the netball court Pimpinio teams will play Kalkee in both the C Reserve and 13 & Under grand finals.
