The bus in the playground of the Dimboola kindergarten that has provided entertainment for generations of pre-schoolers has recently been replaced by a new one built by students from the Dimboola Memorial Secondary College.

The ‘Hands On Learning’ students presented the new playground equipment to the children and staff at the Dimboola Kindergarten last Wednesday morning.

The students built the new bus after drawing their own pattern from the old one, with the project undertaken over a one month period with work carried out one day per week.

The students and staff who worked on the project presented the bus to an excited group of kindergarten students in front of parents and staff.

Appreciation certificates were presented by kindergarten student Eleanor to the students and staff involved in the project
