Both of Dimboola’s pennant bowls sides enjoyed important wins last Saturday.
Third Division
Not only did the third division side have a big win of 83 to 35 against the second placed Coughlin Par,k but the team of Rob Clark, Max Walker, Gordon Miller and Ian McRae picked up eight shots on one end, a rare feat in any pennant game, and the team won their game easily 36-10.
The other teams also had comfortable wins with Trevor Werner’s team winning by 15 shots (28-15) and Bryan Beattie’s team won by 9 shots (19-10).

First Division
The first division had a great win against the ladder leading Coughlin Park winning by 8 shots 93-85, Rob Pyres team of Cliff Unger, Darryl Both and Merv Roberts led the way with an impressive 34-7 win.
Peter O’Loughlin and his team had the closet of victories winning by just one shot 26-25, Geoff Gazelle went down by 4 shots (18-22) and Alan Krahe’s team had a hard day going down by 16 shots (15-31).
