First Division
What a day for our first division side on Saturday, in a game that was close all day against Sunnyside it came down to the last two ends of the day.

The team of Judith Albrecht, Rick Danisch, Greg Cook and Peter O’Loughlin went into the last two ends with Dimboola leading overall by two shots, the team were able to pick up one shot on the second last end to put Dimboola three shots up with one end to go.

The last end saw Sunnyside holding two shots with their skip having the last bowl but he was unable to improve their situation giving Dimboola a one shot victory overall 96-95.

We have to remember that win, lose or draw every shot counts so well done to all teams. Next week we will play Horsham City on the Sunnyside greens for the chance to play against Coughlin Park in the grand final.

Results
Judith Albrecht, Rick Danisch, Greg Cook and Peter O’Loughlin won 28-14
Rob Clark, Ron Gaulke, Wayne Albrecht and Alan Krahe won 28-24
Merv Roberts, Peter Ross, Darryl Both and Rob Pyers drew 24 all
Josh Cook, Daniel Danisch, Darryl Argall and Geoff Gazelle lost 16-33

The above teams will be the same for next week, all the best to all. Cars leave at 12.35pm.

Third Division
Our third division side had also had a tight game but were unable to overcome the Coughlin Park side going down by six shots.

This means that the third division side will have to play the Nhill three side next week to gain the chance to play Coughlin Park in the grand final. I’m sure the side will bounce back and give themselves the chance in the grand final.

The game will be played at Coughlin Park with cars leaving at 12.35pm.

Results
Ian Barry, Bill Eldridge, Bob Gooding and Bryan Beattie won 24-17
Alex Orcsik, Bill Ballard, Lois Gaulke and Trevor Werner won 19-15

Next week we hope to see Frank Neagle back in the side after having to pull out on Saturday.

All other teams will be the same, with Lois Gaulke and Mary Argall being emergencies.

Cars leave at 12.35pm.

All the best to both sides next week and all the best in bowling,

Kitty Hawk Pete
