Summer sport will be in full swing from this weekend with cricket hitting off, joining tennis and bowls that commenced for the 2019/20 season last weekend.

Cricket

The new Horsham Cricket Association season begins tomorrow with the A grade and B grades both playing one day games.

The Blackheath-Dimboola first eleven will travel to Laharum to take on the home team for their debut match in the A grade after being promoted following their win in the B grade grand final last season, and the top team from the West Wimmera Warriors will play their first game in the B grade when they host Rupanyup-Minyip at Davis Park in Nhill.

The C grade teams from both clubs have another week off before they commence their season the following week.

A Grade

Tennis

Dimboola will host Rainbow at the Health and Fitness Centre this evening in the opening match of Round 2 of the Dimboola District Tennis Associating, and tomorrow will see Arkona play Brim, also at the Health and Fitness Centre, Antwerp travel to play at Warracknabeal and Jeparit host Hopetoun.
