The Blackheath-Dimboola senior team did not enjoy a great day on their trip to Rupanyup, and the C grade team officially withdrew from the competition.
An opening partnership of 46 between Harry Young (23) and Chris Hauselberger (22) got the Bulls off to a good start, and with a mid-innings contribution of 32 from Elliott Braithwaite, the team finished with 122 despite a late order batting collapse which saw five wickets fall for seven runs.
The Rupanyup-Minyip batsmen proved to be too good as they reached the target in just over 25 overs, and for the loss of just three wickets. These were shared between Robert Somers with two and one by Sam Polack.
Unfortunately during last week the decision was made to withdraw the C grade team from the competition due to a lack of players, leaving the club to now concentrate on fielding the one side which next week will welcome the Noradjuha Toolondo Bullants to the Dimboola Recreation Reserve.
This opponent has had two wins and a loss from their three games, and a good showing in this game should see the Bulls break into the top four.
