Bowls | First Division win over Horsham City
Read this week’s bowls report by Kittyhawk Pete below.
It was a good day for first division with the side having a win over Horsham City on the city green but it was a washout for second division at Edenhope.

First division had a good seven-shot win at Horsham 73 to 67.

The team of Geoff Gazelle, Rob Pyers, Darryl Both and Darryl Argall had a big 17 shot win which set the day as the other two teams went down, the team of Alan Krahe, Wayne Albrecht, Greg Cook, and Josh Cook had a topsy turvy day before going down by only one shot 25 to 26.

The team of Peter O’Loughlin, Judith Albrecht, Ron Gaulke, and Merv Roberts struggled for most of the day before going down by 10 shots 18 to 28.

This win means Dimboola will again be playing Horsham City in the first semi-final on February 15th on a neutral green to be decided.

This Saturday first division plays the second-placed Sunnyside on our green in what will be a good hit-out for the semi-final.

Second division had the misfortune to travel to Edenhope to only play 11 ends before a downpour flooded the green and the game had to be called off. This week second division play Natimuk also on our home green.
