The Little Desert Regional Fox Control Program is now being delivered into its second year, after having a successful participation rate in 2019 covering over 56,000 Hectares.

The private land target area of focus is south of the Western Hwy and North of the Natimuk Frances Rd through to the Little Desert National Park where Parks Vic. are continuing to undertake fox control. The long-term objective of the program aims to reduce predation threats to biodiversity and economic assets.

This is being delivered through the funding of the Victoria State Government’s commitment to Biodiversity 2037 and is in partnership with the Wimmera Catchment Management Authority, Conservation Volunteers Australia, Parks Victoria, and local Landcare groups.
