Little Desert fire warning downgraded to Advice

The Watch & Act message from earlier has been downgraded to a broad Advice message this evening, covering Dimboola, Duchembegarra, Gerang Gerung, Little Desert, Natimuk, Pimpinio, Vectis, and Wail.
There are two bushfires in the Little Desert National Park that are not yet under control.
Fire activity on the Desert Discovery Walk fire has eased this evening, but residents are urged to remain vigilant. Fire crews will remain in the area throughout the night, to help stop the spread of the fire. This fire has burnt approx. 2023 ha.
The Pump track fire has burnt approx. 1493 ha. Favourable weather conditions this evening, will allow fire crews to build containment lines around the fire edge.
There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
