The Little Desert fires remain at Advice level this morning, with work to contain the two fires progressing.
There are two bushfires in the Little Desert National Park that are not yet under control.

Fire activity on the Desert Discovery Walk fire has eased and work is progressing to contain this fire, but residents are urged to remain vigilant. Fire crews will remain in the area throughout today, to help stop the spread of the fire. This fire has burnt approx. 2487 ha.

The Pump track fire has burnt approx. 1949 ha. Favourable weather conditions today, will allow fire crews to continue to build containment lines around the fire edge.

There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.

Firefighters are patrolling this fire. Smoke will visible from nearby roads and communities.
