The Antwerp Tennis club was host to Hopetoun on Friday night for the opening match of the round, and the home team proved to be the stronger team on the night winning all their sets.
In the mixed, Antwerp won 5 sets, 51 games to Hopetoun 1 set, 29 games.
The men won their match 4 sets, 48 games to Hopetoun 2 sets, 31 games.
The Antwerp ladies were also strong in their win with 5 sets, 49 games to Hopetoun 1 set, 28 games. The overall score was Antwerp 5 match points, 14 sets, 148 games to Hopetoun 0 match points, 4 sets, 88 games.
Saturday saw Arkona and Jeparit play at the Dimboola Health and Fitness Centre courts. Arkona had a good win with the mixed winning 5 sets, 39 games to Jeparit 2 sets, 24 games. The Arkona men had a good win with 5 sets, 45 games to Jeparit 0 sets, 18 games.
The Jeparit ladies were stronger with 2 sets, 31 games to Arkona 3 sets, 29 games.
The overall score was Arkona 5 match points, 11 sets, 113 games to Jeparit 0 match points, 4 sets, 73 games.
The match between Brim and Rainbow did not go ahead with Rainbow forfeiting.
Dimboola hosted Warrack Gold in Dimboola.
The Dimboola mixed was won by Warrack Gold with 3 sets, 31 games to Dimboola 1 set, 20 games.
The Dimboola men were stronger winning 3 sets, 34 games to Warrack Gold 1 set, 19 games. The Warrack Gold ladies came back stronger with 4 sets, 36 games to Dimboola 0 sets, 10 games.
