The Rainbow Innovation Centre will be officially launched at the Oasis on Tuesday.

Rainbow Innovation Centre, Supporting All Abilities Inc. will run programs on Tuesdays for those with a disability, but will be open to all in the community. The Centre will focus on the arts for personal development and the sharing of skills.

Opportunities will be made for participants to learn through guided projects or the development of their own artistic ideas and the contribution to the development of a sensory garden.

The Centre will be officially launched on Tuesday 2nd February from 10am, with a selection of art activities, gardening, and music. There will be information available about the Centre, what they can offer, and future plans. Mentors will also be on site to speak with.

At 11.30am Ange Clarke from Where There’s a Will will deliver a meaningful statement via video link followed by other guest speakers.

Certificates will be awarded by the Innovation Centre’s President to specific participants who have assisted in getting the Centre to where it is today.

Following this official ceremony, community members are welcome to mingle and enjoy food catered by Woodbine and enjoy a walk through the newly planted sensory garden.

At 3.45pm school aged participants are invited to attend the Innovation Centre and explore their abilities through a range of creative activities. Parents of these students are encouraged to attend during the day launch to gain a better understanding of what the Centre offers.

From Monday 1st to Sunday 14th February there will be an exhibition of works from participants and images from the development of the Centre on display at the Turbo Gallery and community members are invited to visit during this time.
