We have been treated to some spectacular sights in the night sky over recent months, with some remarkable auroras, planet alignments, and comets.

Comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) is the current feature (pictured above), visible in the western sky just after sunset, while last year, the Southern Aurora paid several visits.

Many satellites can also be seen passing overhead, as can be seen in the comet picture above as thin straight lines.
