The Dimboola Lions hosted their changeover of office bearers at the Dimboola RSL last weekend.
At the meeting last Sunday, outgoing President Paul Lehmann outlined the club’s achievements over the last 12 months and highlighted the ongoing importance of safety in all the club’s activities.
During the 2025/26 year, the Dimboola Lions provided funding for community grants, Tower Park, the Dimboola Dash, schools, and the Good Friday Appeal.
The guest speaker was local Bendigo Community Bank Manager, Melissa Clarke, who outlined the issue of scams, which have become an increasing problem across the community, and the need for everyone to be aware and ask questions.
The new office bearers for 2026/27 were inducted by Lion Phil Sheriff.
