Following a trying winter that saw empty sporting fields across the country, senior sport is set to resume with the Horsham Cricket Associaton season to hit off on 7 November with strict COVID-19 guidelines.

The lack of community sport this year has put a strain on the viability of local clubs, but as they look forward to resuming competition in 2021, there are several funding options available including a second round of the Community Sport Sector COVID-19 Survival Package grants.
Rainbow Enduro - looking back to look forward
This weekend would have seen the fourth Rainbow Enduro held on the desert course west of the town, but due to the current Coronavirus situation this event, like many others throughout the country, has been cancelled.

The Wimmera Hockey Association will receive a grant of $7,500 from the associations and leagues tier of the Victorian Government’s ’Community Sport Sector COVID-19 Short-term Survival Package’.
