Winiam's Brad Clark has been rewarded for his consistency throughout this cricket season with three trophies, including the coveted Wes Warrick Memorial Cricketer of the Year and he came runners up in three others during the West Wimmera Cricket Association's awards presentation function on Saturday evening.

The trophy presentations were made during a function held after the completion of the last of the home and away where both games were played in Nhill and the Winiam club hosted their annual Pink Stumps fundraiser.

The evening began with a charity auction of goods and services donated by local and district businesses led by local auctioneer Andy McIllree. A total of around $3,200 was raised for the McGrath Foundation.

The 2015/16 Trophy Winners - Brodie Cramer (Winiam), Jordan Gurry (Winiam), Brad Clark (Winiam), Michael Preston (Jeparit), Adrian King (Jeparit). Jeremy Preston was not at the presentations.

Clark's haul also included both of the batting awards, with 303 runs at an average of 43.28 per innings. Rainbow's Brett Jensz finished only one run behind.

Both of the under 21 awards were won by Clark's Winiam team mates, with Brodie Cramer taking home the batting aggregate with 225 runs and Jordan Gurry the bowling aggragate with 14 wickets.

Gurry also won the fielding award.

Jeparit was the only other club to receive any of the major awards, with Michael Preston earning the Most Valuable Player award along with the bowling average with 8.08 runs per wicket, Adrian King being crowned the leading wicket keeper and Preston's brother, Jeremy, taking the most wickets with 17.

The Association now moves into its finals series, with Winiam and Jeparit to play in the semi final next weekend and Nhill Tigers meeting the winner of that game in the grand final the following week.
