Dimboola Police have interviewed a youth in relation to an incident that occurred at the Dimboola Library on Wednesday 27th April.

Police allege that at about 3.30pm on that date, a group of youths were spoken to about their recent behaviour by a library staff member. One of the youths then walked to the rear of the library where he proceeded to urinate in a beer bottle, before throwing the bottle at the wall of the library.

The youth will now be summonsed to attend court at a later date to answer allegations of Discharging a Missile and Offensive Behaviour.

Sgt Sadler said that the alleged behaviour was disgusting, and that anyone who elects to carry out such acts can expect to come to the attention of police and the courts.

"People have a right to carry out their day to day business without being subjected to this type of revolting behaviour."

Anti-social behaviour such as this will not be tolerated by local Police.
