DRAFT DOMESTIC ANIMAL MANAGEMENT PLAN 2017-2021
PUBLIC NOTICE
At the Council meeting on 20 September 2017, the Hindmarsh Shire Council resolved to give public notice of the Draft Domestic Animal Management Plan 2017-2021 and invite public submissions. Council intends to adopt the 2017-2021 Council Plan at the Council meeting to be held on Wednesday 25 October 2017, commencing at 3.00pm in the Supper Room, MECCA, Federal St, Rainbow.
The Plan is available for public inspection on Council's website (www.hindmarsh.vic.gov.au); at the Council Office in Nhill from 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday; and at the Dimboola, Jeparit and Rainbow Customer Service Centres during times when the centres are open to the public, from Friday 22 September 2017 for a period of 28 days.
A person has a right to make a submission in accordance with Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989. Council will consider written submissions received on or before 5pm Friday 20 October 2017. Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Hindmarsh Shire, PO Box 250, Nhill, 3418. Any person making a submission is entitled to request to appear in person, or be represented by a person at the Council meeting to present their submission. Submissions will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989.
