Dimboola Police were on duty just before 1am this morning and responded when damage was caused to one of the roller doors at the Dimboola Ambulance Station.

Dimboola Police Station Commander Sergeant Darren SADLER said, "A group of males was walking along Wimmera Street when one of them decided to hip and shoulder the roller door, causing significant damage. Fortunately we were patrolling nearby and the person responsible was identified quickly.

The damage was repaired this morning, and operations at the Ambulance Station have continued as normal, however damaging buildings or infrastructure used by emergency services can lead to significant operational impacts that can affect the whole community so individuals really need to think before they act."

A 20 year old Horsham man will be summonsed to appear at court at a later date.
