It was a good day on Saturday with both first and second division bowls sides recording wins.
First Division travelled to Kaniva knowing that it was always going to be a hard game on their fast greens.

It was close at the start until the side of Rob Pyers, Greg Cook, Judth Albrecht and Shannon Williams pulled away and built a large lead taking the pressure off and going on to record a 13 shot victory 31-18.

The side of Peter O’Loughlin, Daniel Danisch, Cliff Unger and Geoff Gazelle had a great tussle for the entire game and only hit the lead on the last end winning by 1 shot 20-19. The side of Alan Krahe, Wayne Albrecht, Josh Cook and Merv Roberts had a close game all day but in the end went down narrowly by 3 shots 22-25.

This gave Dimboola an 11 shot victory and 14 points.

This week we see First Division play against last year’s premier Nhill in which will be a tough game, let’s hope we are at our top and knock them over.

Second Division had a comfortable 15 shot win against their Goroke opponents winning 77-62 and picking up 14 points.
