A good weekend on the greens for the Dimboola First Division team has seen them qualify for the finals.

This is how Kittyhawk Pete saw the weekend’s results.

First Division

It was a good weekend for First Division playing against Horsham Golf on their greens, with two teams having wins and the other team having a draw, this will mean that our first division side will play in the finals which begin on February 15.

The team of Alan Krahe, Wayne Albrecht, Greg Cook, and Josh Cook had a great win winning by 13 shots, 27 to 14 and the team of Geoff Gazelle, Rob Pyers, Darryl Both and Darryl Argall who also had a good win winning by 11 shots, 26 to 15.

The team of Peter O’Loughlin, Judith Albrecht, Ron Gaulke, and Merv Roberts had a close game all afternoon which resulted in a draw 24 shots all, giving Dimboola a 24-shot victory, 77 to 53, well done to all teams.

This week First Division travel to Horsham City in which should be an interesting contest as Horsham City look like being the team, we will be playing in the first week of the finals.
