The Bulls finished a tough season in the best possible way with an emphatic 33 run victory over Colts, for their third win.

The previous Saturday Blackheath-Dimboola scored 124, led by 29 by Elliott Braithwaite and 24 from Harry Young, before reducing Colts to 7 for 34 by stumps at the end of the first day.

This week the locals needed three wickets to claim a victory, and it was not long before both Brodie Cramer and Braithwaite took a wicket each when the Colts had only advanced their total to 47. This was followed by some big hitting in a last wicket partnership of 44 before Robbie Somers (above) enticed the batsman to edge a delivery to wicketkeeper Daniel Polack who took the catch and ended the innings 33 runs short of the target.

The Bulls season is now over, but will be celebrated next Sunday afternoon from 2 pm with a Twenty20 game on the Howland oval for the Under 12 players which will be followed by the presentations to the juniors, a barbeque tea and the senior presentations.

The A grade semi finals will be played next Saturday and Sunday, with Homers and Laharum playing on the Horsham City Oval, and Noradjuha-Toolondo Bullants take on Horsham Saints on the turf wicket at Dudley Cornell Park.

A B grade semi final between Homers and Rupanyup-Minyip will be played on the Dimboola Recreation Reserve over both Saturday and Sunday.
