Victoria Police is assuring Dimboola residents that, despite an upcoming temporary closure of the public counter at the Dimboola Police Station, there will be no impact to the police response in the town.

The reception counter at the Dimboola Police Station will close from 31st January 2021.

A spokesperson said that the Horsham Police Station’s reception counter remains open to the public for anyone who requires an in-person service.

“While counter service has been temporarily limited, the overall police response will not be impacted.

“Please be assured that while the station has closed temporarily, overall police response in the area remains unchanged and police will still attend incidents as required.”

The Police Assistance Line (131 444) and online reporting are available for non-urgent matters, while Triple Zero (000) is to be used for emergencies.
