Plans are underway for a number of events across the region over the Easter weekend, with many organisations looking forward to running events that may have been unable to run twelve months ago.

Jeparit Anglers Club will host their annual Easter Fishing Competition on the banks of the Wimmera River on Easter Saturday.

The bank only fishing event will offer senior and junior competitors their chance at winning a share of thousands of dollars worth of prizes.

The event runs from 7.30am to 3pm on Easter Saturday, 3rd April 2021.

Online registrations for the event will open within the coming weeks and more information is available at www.jeparitanglersclub.com.

The Dimboola Town Committee will bring the community together at their Easter Eggstravaganza.

This event on Easter Saturday afternoon and into the evening will offer something for everyone, with an Easter egg hunt, face painting if restrictions permit, entertainment by Chris Hasselburger and a teddy bears picnic. Prizes will be on offer for a range of best-dressed categories. A BBQ tea will also be available.

This will take place at the Dimboola Soundshell in the Recreation Reserve from 4.30pm to 9pm. Full details are available at this link.
