Rural Roads Victoria are advertising that they will be undertaking works at a busy Dimboola intersection next week.

Asphalt works will occur at the intersection of High, Ellerman and School Streets next Monday and Tuesday between 7 am and 6 pm.

Alternate routes to avoid this intersection could include turning off High street just after the railway crossing into Upper Regions Street, and then either using Lowan Street and Ellerman Street to get onto Horsham Road or in the other direction Wimmera or Lochiel Streets to access the Secondary College.

This is in addition to the roadworks currently occurring at the northern entry to Dimboola, where a new slip lane is being added for safer access off the highway.

Other projects in the planning stage by Rural Roads Victoria include improvements of 1.3 kilometres of High Street to improve the road surface between the Western Highway and Horsham Road and is scheduled to be completed by June, and asphalt resurfacing works on 470 metres of High Street from the railway crossing towards Lloyd Street.
