The Dimboola Rowing Club has received a grant of over one thousand dollars that will go towards the purchase of new competition uniforms.

The need for new tops has come about by the new COVID-19 rules, which stipulates that all competitors must have their own uniform, with no sharing with other rowers.

Member for Western Victoria, Jaala Pulford, announced earlier this week that the money would come from the Victorian Government’s Sporting Club Grants Program and will contribute $1,340 towards the new tops.

As this will not cover the full cost of the new garments, the Club is selling all of their current stock of older style tops, all of which are new and unused.

Anyone interested in purchasing a piece of local sporting memorabilia is encouraged to contact a Dimboola Rowing Club member.
