The Wimmera Mallee Pioneer Museum at Jeparit has made the decision to cancel their annual Queen’s Birthday Weekend event for the second year in a row, due to current uncertainties.

The Museum said the following in a statement on Tuesday:
It is with great sadness that the Museum Committee has decided to cancel our open day scheduled to be held this Queens Birthday weekend.

This is due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown and the possibility of restrictions in the following weeks.

A big thank you to everyone who had committed to making our weekend a success, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our thoughts are with all our friends, and you can be sure that we will open our doors again as soon as is allowed by authorities.

We look forward to seeing you all in the near future.
