More local events are being crossed off the calendar as the uncertainty around restrictions continues.

With many of these events coming up within the next four to six weeks, committees are reaching the critical time when decisions need to be made.

It was announced this morning that the Kaniva Show would be cancelled, coming after a range of other local show committees making similar announcements. Jeparit has announced that their 2021 event would not go ahead.

The Murtoa Big Weekend scheduled for the end of September has also been cancelled.

The Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre was planning an historic engineering expo for Saturday 18th September. This event has been postponed to March 2022.

The Horsham Agricultural and Pastoral Society recently announced that their 2021 show would not go ahead, but they have recently hosted a photography competition online.
