NOTICE | Albacutya Bridge Closure

Council has permanently closed the Albacutya Bridge after a condition inspection revealed the bridge is further deteriorating. This deterioration was likely accelerated due to the recent earthquake. All road users wishing to travel Albacutya Rd past Outlet Creek, will now be required to use the gravel bypass by following the detour roadside traffic management signage.

The closure will remain in place for several months whilst the replacement bridge is constructed. Site mobilisation is scheduled to start late October with demolition due to begin shortly after.
