The Victorian Government’s ‘Power Saving Bonus’ program, which provides a $250 rebate to eligible households, is set to end at the end of January next year and households are being encouraged to apply.

The one-off payment is available to households receiving payments through the Pension Concession, JobSeeker, Austudy, Abstudy or Youth Allowance programs, or who hold a Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card.

The Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Lily D’Ambrosio, is reminding all eligible households to take advantage of the one-off $250 payment before the program ends on 31st January 2022.

Across the political aisle, Member for Lowan Emma Kealy is also encouraging people to take advantage of the program.

Ms Kealy said that her office sent letters to all Lowan constituents earlier this year explaining the application process for the Power Saving Bonus.
