As the year draws to a close, I would like to wish all the best to Year 12 students who this week started their final VCE exams, marking the culmination of their educational journey.
The completion of your secondary education can be an emotional time as it marks the end of one chapter of your life.
It is also an exciting time as you look forward to the future and the many opportunities that lie ahead.
I remind all year 12 students to feel incredibly proud for how far you’ve come, and just how much you have achieved in the last 12 months, let alone the past 13 years of your school life.
At the end of the day, your result does not define who you are as a person, and there are many pathways to get where you want to be.
We know that due to lockdowns and interrupted learning over the past few years, your cohort has done it tougher than most.
I wish you all the very best for your remaining exams, and congratulate you on reaching the end of an era.
