The local football and netball seasons will come to an end on Saturday with the Wimmera Football Netball League at the Dimboola Recreation Reserve.
The Horsham District Football Netball League played their grand finals at Qunatong last Saturday, where Harrow-Balmoral defeated Jeparit-Rainbow Storm in the senior football, and Edenhope-Apsley defeated Laharum in the A grade netball.
The Wimmera Hockey Association also concluded their season last weekend, with Yanac winning the Trifecta by winning the Open, Women’s, and Under 16 grand finals.
On Saturday, the action will commence with the 13 & Under netball and Under 14 football matches at 8.20 am and 8.30 am, respectively, with the highlights being the Southern Mallee Giants taking on Ararat in the senior football grand final and Horsham Saints playing Horsham for the title in the A grade netball.
