It’s that time of the year again when parts of Australia turn clocks forward an hour at 2 am on Sunday morning. Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, the ACT, and Tasmania will observe this change, while Queensland, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory will not change, giving Australia five different time zones for the next five months.
While most connected devices with a clock, such as mobile phones and smart TVs, will update automatically, you’ll still have to manually change your microwave and other old-school clocks.
Residents are encouraged to use this as a reminder to also check smoke detector batteries.
Daylight Savings will end on Sunday 4 April next year.
